Abstract

Aggressive behavioral disorder has become common in vulnerable social environments. Scholars in the behavioral sciences have proposed managing emotions, using calming behaviors, and following a social reward and punishment system as effective solutions. The strategy of creating a faith-based environment based on the teachings of religious jurisprudence and psychological guidelines is the idea of this article for the effective prevention and treatment of aggressive behavioral disorder. This strategy is manifested in the three contexts of time, place, and interpersonal relationships.Creating a faith-based environment in the context of time, by utilizing the spiritual opportunities foreseen in jurisprudential teachings, activates inner capacities and provides the basis for self-control and avoidance of deviance and violent behaviors. In the context of place, by raising the level of awareness and observing the religious etiquette of attending holy places, the ability to manage behavior increases and as a result, the tendency to violence decreases significantly. In the interpersonal context, by experiencing compassion, the convergence of society in the light of faith is strengthened and thereby positive relationships and mutual respect develop, which also results in a decrease in aggressive behaviors in social interactions. These three contexts, when intersecting with each other, create an effective process in the prevention and treatment of aggression that leads to individual growth, increased psychological peace, and improved quality of social relationships.
