In the sphere of human life, the concept of caution is considered a desirable thing according to wisdom and Sharia. But due to some possible unfortunate consequences, it is appropriate to determine the scope and criteria for it. It is necessary to pay attention to this matter in the field of determining the Shariah rulings of the obligees and as one of the pillars of methodical ijtihad. This article, with the help of authoritative sources and exploratory-analytical method, seeks to enumerate the most important solutions to prevent the disproportionate caution of the mujtahid in the position of ifta. After that, to prove the necessity of reducing such precautions, the unfortunate consequences of this method have been explained. In the last step, the following solutions have been introduced as the requirements of the ijtihad method in the position of ifta: reducing the influence of previous scholars in the three areas of consensus, reputation of fatwa and understanding of companions; appropriate thematics; considering the interests of Islam and Muslims; Paying attention to the effective promotion of religion and teaching the principle of tolerance in rulings.
